Become a Backcountry Festival Volunteer

The Australian Backcountry Festival is a 100% volunteer run event, by the community for the community.

Volunteering with us is a great opportunity to make new backcountry friends and join a group of like-minded outdoor individuals who want to help out and support the festival and the adventure community it represents.

The festival will be a family friendly, welcoming and inclusive event. We welcome volunteers of all walks of life regardless of their gender, marital/parental status, ethnic origin, nationality, age, background, disability, sexual orientation and gender identity.

Volunteers will be given priority first access to backcountry tours.

Festival apparel is only available for pre-order at Alpine Armour.

You will receive your merchandise order at the festival if purchased before midnight, Thursday August 15th.
